Olivia Flasch is a lawyer and legal consultant in Public International Law, with a particular focus on the Law of Armed Conflict and International Criminal Law. She holds a Master of Laws from the University of Oxford. Olivia has worked with governments, the United Nations and other international organisations on a wide range of legal topics, including the verification of digital evidence in international criminal proceedings, the development of AI in the military domain, and the protection of the environment in armed conflicts. She regularly writes and speaks on matters relating to international law and current affairs, and her written work has featured in the Jerusalem Post, EJIL Talk!, the Lawfare Institute, the Lieber Institute’s Articles of War, the Times of Israel and other publications.
