Orna is a lawyer in Public International Law, specializing in International Humanitarian Law, International Human Rights Law and International Criminal Law. She holds a LL.B from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Previously, Orna worked in the International Law Department at the Office of the Legal Advisor to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she focused on a wide range of legal topics, like international litigation, the law of armed conflict, and worked on multiple projects of the United Nations. Orna served as a member on the editorial board of the Israel Law Review, focusing on international human rights and constitutional law. Orna was also member of the Innocence Clinic at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she specialized in domestic criminal litigation of mistrials.
